Tula – Dogg – Lesser God – Citadel 7 Sci-fi Book Series Character

Tula aka Dogg

Tula is a mentor and friend to Ben Blochentacle. She is compassionate, wise and noble. Beneath that proud feisty exterior, she also carries painful secrets and vulnerabilities. Tula’s story is a winding tale of heroism, courage and sacrifice . Her own secret profile kept in the Fortress of Bach Archives speaks of a complex individual. It advises she is in-fact a priestess of the Filion Order. It is said the Filion are a ‘creation’ of Zero, Lord of Life’s Spark himself. They are ethereal scholars and guardians who were, until the fall of the Evercycle Council, aligned with the House of Zero. The mandate of Tula and her other sisters in the Filion are overseen by Farron, Abbess of the Fortress of Bach. The Filion are tasked with protecting the greatest secrets of the Superverse. Ben Blochentacle’s real purpose is one such secret.

Before meeting Ben, Tula suffers a curse of Familiar Body Imprisonment. It happens after she and her mission counterpart Warden Uniss are framed for war crimes by Herrex’s Mother, 3 (Three??), Lord of Chaos. Tula and Uniss, are compelled to adopt Ben Blochentacle as their apprentice for some nefarious reason that Three has in mind. Around those circumstances a crime of extortion and murder erupt, something Tula, Uniss and Ben become wholly embroiled in.

In the skirmishes around that dilemma Tula suffers a terrible wound. A dark ethereal blade wielded by Lord Herrex nearly kills her. The wound she suffers prevents her from returning to her true form, until the curse is broken. From then on, she keeps her battle form as a Blue Heeler Cattle Dog and takes on the alias of, Dogg.

Ben is supposed to be merely an answer to a very difficult choice for Dogg and Uniss. Little do they all realize that a much larger game is being played by an enemy far greater than even Three is thought to be. Dogg refuses to be the instrument of Three’s manipulation, even if it’s at the expense of her own existence. She along with Uniss and Ben, who is often kept in the dark, instead choose to go against Three’s directive and risk everything to set things right.
