First edition Citadel 7 Charater posters

Citadel 7 Superverse Video Channel

Nothing happens overnight in getting a book series published. Citadel 7 was always intended to be more than just an exciting saga. Its scope is immense, but the books are the bedrock.

Producing just one stellar story (novel) is hard. Producing a grand scale trilogy takes an even greater effort. But producing an 18 novel series with the first six titles as its foundation, yep that many, is well, something else altogether. By 2015, the series reached the next milestone in its evolution.

Happily, the more people who read the books and got involved with the stories and characters, the more they wanted. Up until 2010, there was little in the way of visual material, and the initial trilogy was just going through its first true essential editing process. From 2010 to 2016 several very talented professionals had gathered to form the core crew that brings Citadel 7 books and audio to life.

Master cover and sci-tech artists Ralph Hawke Manis, Angel Martin and Mick Rattanarupe gave vivid faces and visual shape to characters and technologies. Any flaws in the manuscripts were ironed out under the watchful eye of Editor John David Kudrick. 2011-12; the saga that was to become the Citadel 7 Superverse crystallized into the first six novels. 2013 onward, a sound team gathered to test the works before their impending publication, amongst them Nigel Cook and Series Production Manager, Charles Wannop. A music theme for the entire audio visual presentation also began with the aid of composer-performer Chris Ficher.

So as you can see from the above, a lot goes into the superverse realm building. After all, the story does involve saving all existence from oblivion. Plots and challenges for the heroes and heroines, surprises (there are many) and shock events (even more of them) must be thought through and rated. Several character growth arcs amidst an over-aching theme take some time to build to ensure integrity. Getting all that right results in a cohesive series that has real longevity and reader/lister appeal.

Between novels, short stories and soon, audio book presentations, we now have quite a bit of stuff to share with planet Earth.

So that’s why we created a Citadel 7 superverse video channel eight years on. We wanted fans to know the real story and have secret peaks into what’s in store. We wanted them to be part of the ride, know the superverse and who the characters and worlds truly are.

In keeping with that, the Citadel 7 Superverse video channel intends introducing fans to some of those incredible people. Other authors and industry professionals, welcomed as, Friends of the Superverse, will give their insights on everything from book covers to publishing tips to editing or becoming a top notch author.
